Research Interests

Understanding the physics of novel quantum matter and materials, and tailoring them to enable advances in technology development and energy utilization. Optical and magneto-optical spectroscopy; time resolved ultrafast spectroscopy.

Our group is exploring the physics in several intriguing systems at the forefront of contemporary physics and nanoscience, such as graphene, topological insulators, transition metal oxides, organic semiconductors and solar energy, and others.
